Electric bolt lock for access control, 12 V DC, 450 mA, holding force up to 1000 kg, SecureEntry-EL100

GTIN: 5907614669041 · SKU: SecureEntry-EL100

The SecureEntry-EL100 is an electric mortise bolt lock for access control. It is mounted inside the door frame, and the induction lock plate is fitted on the door. When power is on, a 15 mm stainless steel bolt extends and locks the door; when power is cut, the bolt retracts and the door unlocks. The lock runs on 12 V DC, so it can be controlled by external access control devices such as RFID readers, access controllers and time recorders. It suits wooden, glass, fire and metal doors.

The lock is locked while it is powered and unlocks when power is cut. In access control terms this is the normally-open (NO), fail-safe behaviour: if the power supply fails, the door is not held locked.

Frequently asked questions

Does the SecureEntry-EL100 lock or unlock when the power fails?
It unlocks. The bolt is extended while power is applied and retracts when power is cut, so the door is not held locked during a power failure. This is the normally-open (NO), fail-safe behaviour.
What access control devices can be connected to the SecureEntry-EL100?
Devices that control the 12 V DC supply of the lock, such as RFID card readers, access controllers and time recorders. This lets you open the door with a proximity card, a password, a fingerprint or a face scan, depending on the device.
What is the lock delay used for?
The lock delay (0, 3 or 6 seconds) keeps the door unlocked for longer after it has been released, so several people can pass without unlocking the door again.
Which doors is the lock suitable for?
Wooden, glass, fire and metal doors. The lock is mounted inside the door frame and the induction lock plate in the door.
What holding force does the lock have?
Up to 1000 kg.
