To change scanner settings, first scan Enter Setup, then the barcode(s) for the option you want, and finally Exit Setup. For parameters with a numeric value (for example a custom prefix or a custom duration), scan Enter Setup, the option code, the required digit codes from the appendix, then Save, and finally Exit Setup.

Do I need to install drivers for the HD150?
No. In its default USB keyboard mode the HD150 is recognised automatically by Windows, macOS and Linux as a standard HID keyboard, with no drivers or extra software.
How do I switch the HD150 between manual and automatic scanning?
Scan "Enter Setup", then the mode code from the Scan Mode section (Manual, Sense / automatic, or Continuous), and finally "Exit Setup". The scanner ships in automatic (sense) mode.
Can I add a custom prefix or suffix (for example an Enter / Tab key)?
Yes. Scan "Enter Setup", enable the custom prefix or suffix, scan the "Set Custom Prefix/Suffix" code, then the digit codes from the appendix that spell the hexadecimal value of the characters you want, then "Save", and finally "Exit Setup".
