GTIN: 5907614664886 · SKU: SolidHand-CM01
The SolidHand-CM01 is a black steel wire tray that hangs under the desktop and holds a power strip, power supplies and the slack of the cables off the floor. It can be mounted in two ways: clamped to the edge of the desk with the two screw clamps, without any drilling, or screwed to the underside of the desktop with the supplied wood screws. The tray carries up to 9 kg and its open wire sides let every cable leave the tray exactly where it is needed.

Before you start
- Decide how you want to mount the tray: clamped to a free desk edge (no drilling) or screwed to the underside of the desktop
- For clamp mounting, check that the desk edge is free and that nothing under the desktop blocks the clamp jaws; the clamp plate can be moved between two positions in the bracket to suit thinner or thicker desktops
- For screw mounting, have a Phillips screwdriver ready for the four wood screws (D)
- The four machine screws (C) that hold the brackets to the tray are also driven with a Phillips screwdriver
Before you start, check that you have received all the parts listed above. If anything is missing or damaged, contact us before assembling the tray.
Assembly
Step 1 — Fit the brackets to the tray
- Place a clamp bracket (B) at each end of the wire tray (A) so that the holes in the bracket foot line up with the holes in the tray.
- Fasten each bracket with two machine screws (C) from above.
Step 2, method 1 — Clamp the tray to the desk edge
- Hold the tray under the desktop and slide the top hook of both brackets over the edge of the desk.
- If the clamp plate does not reach the underside of the desktop, move the plate to the other pair of holes in the bracket, as shown in the inset.
- Turn the knob of each clamp until the plate presses firmly against the underside of the desktop.
Step 2, method 2 — Screw the tray under the desktop
- Hold the tray against the underside of the desktop in the chosen position and mark the two holes in the top flange of each bracket.
- Fasten each bracket with two wood screws (D) into the desktop.
Step 3 — Lay in the power strip and cables
- Place the power strip and the power supplies in the tray.
- Lead each cable out through the gaps between the wire loops at the point closest to the device it feeds.
Using the tray
- The tray carries up to 9 kg: a power strip, several power supplies and their cables
- The wire loops on both sides are open at the top, so a cable can be lifted in or out at any point without threading it through
- With clamp mounting, the tray can be moved along the desk edge or taken down at any time by loosening the two knobs
- The open wire construction lets air reach power supplies that warm up in use
