The FeetFleet-11 is a black office footrest with a 40 × 30 cm platform on a steel frame. The platform tilts from −20° to +20°, so you can set the angle that suits your legs, and a soft foam cushion on top makes it comfortable in socks or slippers. The footrest carries up to 20 kg and stands 12.5 cm high.

There is nothing to screw together. Take the footrest and the cushion out of the box, put the cushion on the platform and the footrest is ready to use.

How the footrest works​

  • Steel frame — a U-shaped steel base that stands on the floor and carries the platform
  • Platform — a melamine-faced board, 40 × 30 cm, hinged on both sides of the frame
  • Tilt — the platform tilts under the pressure of your feet, from −20° to +20°; press down with your toes to lower the front edge, or with your heels to raise it
  • Cushion — a soft foam cushion with a zipped fabric cover lies on the platform; it can be taken off

Setting up the footrest​

  1. Put the footrest on a flat, level floor in front of your chair, under the desk, with the cushion on the platform.
  2. Sit down and rest both feet on the cushion. Move the footrest closer or further away until your feet rest on it comfortably and your knees are bent at roughly a right angle.
  3. Set your chair height so that your thighs are about horizontal and the edge of the seat does not press into the back of your thighs.
  4. Tilt the platform with your feet to the angle you find comfortable. Rocking it gently now and then keeps your legs moving during long sessions at the desk.

Care and maintenance​

  • The cushion can be taken off the platform for cleaning. Wipe the platform and the frame with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
  • Check at least once every three months that the footrest is safe to use: the platform tilts freely, nothing is loose, cracked or bent.
  • Use the footrest indoors only.

Safety notes​

  1. Do not exceed the rated load of 20 kg. Loading the footrest with more than its rated weight can make it unstable and cause injury.
  2. The footrest is made for resting your feet while you are seated. Do not stand on it, do not use it as a step and do not put your whole body weight on it.
  3. Use the footrest only indoors. Using it outdoors can destroy it.
  4. Put the footrest on a level floor so that it cannot tip.
  5. Keep fingers, cables and other objects away from the hinges and from the space under the platform while it tilts.
  6. Check at regular intervals, at least once every three months, that the footrest is safe to use.
