The SolidHand-KT03 is a folding keyboard and mouse shelf that clamps to the edge of a desk, countertop or narrow work surface, with no drilling. The 65 × 25 cm maple-finish platform on a steel frame carries up to 25 kg, and when the keyboard is not needed the shelf folds down along the desk edge, freeing the space in front of the desk.

General instructions​

Before using the keyboard shelf for the first time, read this manual carefully to make sure the shelf has been attached and set up correctly.

The shelf is intended for use in dry rooms only. Do not expose it to water, moisture or extreme temperatures.

Mounting the shelf​

The shelf is clamped to the edge of the desktop with the supplied mounting screws — no drilling into the desk and no extra tools are needed.

  1. Hold the shelf against the edge of the desk where you want to use it.
  2. Tighten the clamping screws so that the clamps press firmly against the desktop.
  3. Check that the shelf is attached firmly and cannot loosen or fall during use.

Take care during mounting so as not to damage the desktop, and make sure the shelf is safe to use. Use only the screws supplied with the shelf.

Folding the shelf​

When you do not need the keyboard, fold the platform down along the edge of the desk — the space in front of the desk is then free. Unfold the platform again when you want to type. This is especially handy if you work mainly on a laptop and use a full-size keyboard only occasionally.

Protection against damage​

  • The shelf carries a load — do not exceed the rated 25 kg, so that it is not damaged.
  • Check regularly that the clamps are still tight, especially if the shelf is used for long periods or in demanding conditions.

Maintenance and cleaning​
