The SolidHand-AM02 holds two monitors of 17 to 32 inches, up to 12 kg each — the heaviest load in the desk range. Both arms sit on one steel post 405 mm tall, fixed to the desk with the clamp or through a hole in the desktop. Each arm is jointed in several places, so a screen reaches up to 380 mm from the post, tilts ±35° and turns ±90° on its VESA head.

Before you start
Allow about half an hour. Have ready:
- A second person — hanging a monitor on an arm is a two-person job, especially at 12 kg
- A Phillips screwdriver for the monitor screws and the Allen key for the joints
- For the clamp: a free desk edge with a desktop 10 to 88 mm thick
- For the grommet: a hole in a desktop 10 to 75 mm thick, or an existing cable opening
- A check that each monitor weighs no more than 12 kg and has 75 × 75 or 100 × 100 VESA holes
Safety instructions
- Caution: using the mount with a load heavier than permitted causes instability and may lead to injury.
- Follow the assembly instructions closely. Incorrect installation may damage the mount or cause serious injury.
- Make sure the supporting surface safely carries the combined weight of the equipment and all mounting parts.
- Use the supplied screws and do not overtighten them — overtightening can damage the mount or the monitor.
- Small parts: the product contains small parts that pose a choking hazard if swallowed. Keep them away from children.
- Indoor use: the product is intended for dry indoor rooms only. Protect it from water, moisture and extreme temperatures — outdoor use risks failure and injury.
- Do not use additional tools or modify parts that are not supplied with the kit.
- Take care when tightening screws with a tool, so you do not damage the mount or the monitor.
Assembly
Step 1 — Fix the post to the desk
The post mounts in one of two ways. Choose one before you start.
Clamp (desktop 10–88 mm)
- Put the post base against the edge of the desk with the clamp jaw underneath.
- Turn the clamp screw until its foot presses firmly against the underside of the desktop.
- Check that the post stands upright and the base does not shift on the desk.
Grommet (desktop 10–75 mm)
- Pass the grommet bolt through an existing cable opening, or through a hole drilled for it.
- Fit the counter plate from underneath and tighten it against the desktop.
- Check that the post stands upright and the base sits flat.
Step 2 — Fit the arms to the post
- Slide the first arm onto the post from above and set it at the height you need.
- Slide the second arm on and leave enough space between the two for both screens to tilt without touching.
- Tighten the collar of each arm so it holds its height.
tip
Set the height so the top edge of each screen sits roughly at eye level once the monitors hang on the arms. Both arms turn a full ±180° around the post, so you can swing them out of the way while you work.
Step 3 — Attach the VESA heads to the monitors
Lay each monitor face down on a soft, clean surface and match the VESA head to its mounting holes — 75 × 75 mm or 100 × 100 mm.
- Fasten the head to the back of the monitor with four screws and washers from the kit, choosing the length that suits the depth of the threads.
- Tighten the four screws evenly and do not overtighten them — the thread is in the monitor housing.
- Repeat for the second monitor.
Step 4 — Hang the monitors on the arms
- With the second person holding the monitor, engage its VESA head in the end of an arm.
- Secure the joint as shown on the head, and do not release the screen until it is held.
- Repeat for the second monitor on the other arm.
caution
At 12 kg per screen this is the heaviest mount in the desk range — never let go of a monitor before its joint is secured.
Step 5 — Set the position and route the cables
- Set each screen at the distance and angle you want: up to 380 mm of reach, ±35° of tilt and ±90° of rotation on the VESA head.
- Tighten the joints so each screen holds its position but can still be moved by hand.
- Lay the power and signal cables in the clips along the arms and run them down to the desk.

Using the mount
Once the screens hang on the arms and the joints are set, you position them by hand:
- Reach — up to 380 mm from the post
- Arm swing — ±180° around the post, independently for each arm
- Screen rotation — ±90°, so a screen can be turned towards a colleague or set upright
- Screen tilt — ±35°
- Height — set on the post by loosening the collar of each arm
Maintenance and storage
- Check at regular intervals — at least once every three months — that the clamp and the screws are still tight.
- Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners on the powder coating.
- If the mount will not be used for a longer time, store it in a dry, cool place away from moisture and heat sources.

How thick can my desktop be?
Up to 88 mm with the clamp, or 10 to 75 mm if you mount through a hole in the desktop. Both the clamp and the grommet base are in the kit, so you can pick whichever suits your desk.
Do I have to drill a hole in my desk?
No. The clamp grips a free desk edge without drilling. The grommet option is there if you prefer a fixing away from the edge or already have a cable opening in the desktop.
Can I mount monitors of different sizes?
Yes. Each arm adjusts independently and takes any monitor within 17–32 inches and 12 kg with a 75 × 75 or 100 × 100 VESA pattern, so two different screens can be combined.
Can I turn a monitor to portrait?
The VESA head rotates ±90°, so a screen can be set upright or turned towards someone next to you. Check that a rotated screen still clears its neighbour before you let go of it.
