Printable UHF RFID sticker, 920–925 MHz, for metal and other surfaces, Tag-MR6P-6535

GTIN: 5906935201015 · SKU: Tag-MR6P-6535

The Tag-MR6P-6535 is a white UHF RFID sticker designed for precise asset tracking on various surfaces, including plastic, wood, cement and metal. It works in the 920–925 MHz band and has an Impinj Monza R6-P chip, giving reliable performance and a long reading range of up to 7.2 m on metal surfaces. The sticker is made of printable PP material, so labels can be personalised, for example by adding barcodes.

General instructions

Before using the RFID tags for the first time, read this manual carefully to make sure they have been installed and configured correctly.

RFID tag usage rules

RFID stickers are thin, flexible RFID tags that can be attached to various objects, such as devices, documents or products, to make them trackable. The Tag-MR6P-6535 reaches its longest reading range on metal; on wood, cement and plastic the range is shorter.

Protection against damage

Protect RFID stickers against mechanical damage, as it can affect the quality of data reading.

Protection against interference

  • Electromagnetic interference: RFID tags can be susceptible to electromagnetic interference, so do not store or use them near strong sources of interference, such as electronic devices that generate strong electromagnetic fields.
  • Reading data: to ensure optimal reading, store the tags so that nothing blocks the radio signal — for example, do not store them in metal containers that can interfere with the signal.

Maintenance and cleaning

RFID stickers get dirty easily, so protect them against excessive dirt and chemicals, which can affect the quality of the signal.

Storage

  • If the RFID tags will not be used for a long time, store them in a dry, cool place, away from strong electromagnetic fields.
  • Avoid storing the tags in places with extreme temperatures or humidity, or where they may be mechanically damaged, e.g. crushed or creased.

Following these rules helps keep RFID tags safe to use and increases their durability and reliability.

Frequently asked questions

On which surfaces do the MR6P-6535 stickers work best?
The MR6P-6535 stickers are designed for multi-surface use. They achieve the longest read range on metal (up to 7.2 m), followed by wood (4.5 m), cement (4.2 m), and plastic (2.8 m). They are not recommended for surfaces with high water content, as water absorbs UHF RF signals.
Can the stickers be printed on?
Yes. The tags are made from PP material that supports direct thermal or thermal transfer printing. This allows you to add barcodes, serial numbers, or QR codes directly to the label surface, combining RFID and barcode identification in one tag.
What RFID frequency do the MR6P-6535 stickers use?
They operate in the UHF RFID band at 920–925 MHz. Use them with UHF RFID readers and systems that support this frequency range.
