Assembly and installation
- Take the platform, the stainless steel post and the control panel out of the box. Remove all foam and protective films and place the scale on a flat surface.
- Stand the control-panel post upright and secure it with the latch at the base of the rack.
- Level the scale using its four adjustable feet.
- Connect the power cord in line with the notch and the securing hole. Mount the control panel to the post with the four screws.
Using the scale
Make sure the scale stands on a flat, stable surface, then turn it on. After start-up, wait until the ZERO and STAB (stable) indicators are both lit before you weigh any goods — they confirm the platform is empty, zeroed and steady.
The control panel has a backlight key (bulb icon), a ZERO key, a TARE key, the numeric keys [0]–[9] with [.] and [C], an ADD key, a STORE key and the memory keys M1–M7. The three display windows are WEIGHT, UNIT PRICE and TOTAL PRICE.
Backlight
Press the backlight key (bulb icon) to switch the LCD backlight on or off. After the scale is switched on with nothing on the platform, the backlight turns on automatically within 3 seconds. Once it has dimmed automatically, place an item on the platform again to wake it.
Zeroing (ZERO)
Press ZERO to reset the weight window to zero (works for up to 2% of the rated capacity). Use it when the empty platform does not read exactly zero.
If the TARE function is active, the ZERO function is unavailable.
Tare (net weighing)
To weigh goods without counting the container, place the empty container on the platform and press TARE while it is being weighed. The TARE indicator appears and the weight window returns to 0, so the next reading shows only the net weight of what you add.
To clear the tare, remove the item from the platform — the display shows a negative weight. Then press TARE again: the ZERO arrow lights and the weight window returns to 0, which means the tare has been cleared.
Price computing and totaling
This is a price-computing scale: it works out the price of weighed goods from a unit price, and can add several items into a running total.
- Put the goods on the platform — the weight appears in the WEIGHT window.
- Enter the unit price (price per 1 kg) on the numeric keys [0]–[9], using [.] for the decimal part. The TOTAL PRICE window shows the price for the weighed amount.
- Press ADD to save that item and add it to the running total.
- Remove the goods, place the next item and repeat. The operation can be repeated up to 99 times.
- Press [C] to clear an entered unit price, or to exit the totaling operation.
Price memory (M1–M7 and STORE)
You can store frequently used unit prices under the memory keys M1–M7:
- Press STORE — the symbol
0.-appears in the UNIT PRICE window. - Enter the unit price you want to save and press one of the M1–M7 keys. The price is now stored under that key.
To recall a stored price, place the item on the platform and press the matching M key — the unit price appears and is used in the calculation.
Battery and charging
The scale runs on a built-in lead-acid rechargeable battery (4 Ah) or from the mains via the AC adapter.
- Charge the battery when
Lo.bappears in the unit-price window. - Under normal use, charge it for at least 1.5 hours for every 1 hour of use.
- If the scale is not used for a long time, connect it to the mains every 3 months and charge it continuously for 24 hours — otherwise the battery may be damaged.
Safety
- Keep the scale clean. Do not expose it to direct sun, very high or low temperatures, heavy dust or strong shocks.
- Do not drop heavy objects onto the weighing platform — it can damage the measuring equipment.
- Do not overload the scale. When the capacity is exceeded, a warning appears on the display.
- Power the scale from a stable mains voltage. Voltage that is too high or too low can cause it to malfunction.
- The scale is powered by an AC adapter. Disconnect the adapter from the mains if the scale will not be used for a long time.
- Before cleaning, switch the scale off and unplug it, then wipe it with a damp cloth. Never use water to clean the scale — it can cause a short circuit or electric shock.
- Keep the scale clean and free of moisture.
